SMALL PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT
The City of Bellevue has released a Small Public Works Project (PREVAILING WAGES SHALL BE PAID).
As a Contractor on the City of Bellevue you are invited to bid on this project.
PROJECT NAME: CITY HALL 3RD FLOOR HR-FIRE - PARTIAL CEILING RENOVATION
BID NUMBER: 25008
BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK: This project includes but is not limited to: (Estimated maximum total duration is 16 weeks from notice to proceed to end of closeout and 100% finalized scope of work for final users mobilization), 3rd-floor enclosed offices ceiling removal and replacement, open work areas ceiling tile replacement, trade permitting as required, coordination and adjustment of MEPs and LV as required, plenum acoustic material installation, coordination with all existing systems (MEP, LV, sound masking, ETC.), patching and wall paint, office equipment protection, cleaning, and other miscellaneous work for a complete an a 100% working systems and scope of work. Any required coordination to prioritize finishing the Fire offices area first to mobilize Fire personnel back to work as soon as possible. All labor, equipment, materials, safety, protection, transportation, hauling, direct and indirect costs, prevailing wages, and compliance with all AHJ requirements, codes, and regulations. The consultant's estimate, including tax, is in the range of $270,000.00 to $290,000.00. This estimate includes the deduct ALT-1, the deduct ALT-1B, the allowance 1, and the allowance 2.
PROJECT SITE VISIT:
The site visit certificate shall be completed and signed by the bidders and the City of Bellevue field representative on the date and time of the site visit. Two optional dates, from 10 AM to 12 PM, are available on April 15th and April 29th. Refer to the bottom of the certificate for additional details.
SEALED BID DUE DATE AND TIME: 5/8/2025 @ 10:00 AM
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Bellevue, Washington by filing in the locked drop box outside of the doors on the first floor of City Hall, 450 110th Avenue NE. Bids will only be opened at a teleconference on the date and hour stated below, at which time such bids will be opened, publicly read and tabulated for submission to the City Council at a future council meeting. Bidders must clearly mark the project name and bid number on the outside of the envelope.
Sealed Bids received later than 5/8/2025 TIME 10:00 AM will not be considered.

BID BOND REQUIRED: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue.
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT ARE AVAILABLE ON-LINE AT BUILDERS EXCHANGE AT WWW.BXWA.COM. The City utilizes Builder's Exchange of Washington to post plans, specifications, addenda, plan holders lists, and bid results for all public works projects. All documents pertaining to this project will be available at the Builder's Exchange of Washington, Inc. website at http://www. bxwa.com or at the City of Bellevue's website at https://bellevuewa.gov/city- government/departments/finance/doing-business-with-bellevue/vendor-services -purchasing-and-procurement/solicita tion-for-bids-rfps-and-RFQs. Builder's Exchange will manage the official plan holders list and notification to those on the list of any and all addenda related to this project. Addenda may not be available or updated on any other website other than through the official plan holders list.
The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening.
The successful bidder must comply with the City of Bellevue equal opportunity requirements.
