Notice is hereby given that the City of Hoonah, Alaska will receive sealed bids for the construction of the HMIC Cargo Dock project. The project generally consists of the following Work:

Construction of a sheet pile bulkhead dock at the existing Hoonah Marine Industrial Center. The bulkhead will include (6) sheet pile cells that will be backfilled with approximately 20,000 cubic yards of shot rock material. Work will also include construction of (3) breasting/mooring dolphins with rock anchors; a concrete barge ramp; mooring bollards, shore winches, fender piles, sacrificial anodes, lighting and other appurtenances. The Engineer's Estimate for all work is approximately $12.5 million. The project is federally funded through MARAD and EDA grants thus federal terms and conditions will apply.

Sealed bids will be received at the City of Hoonah, P.O. Box 360, Hoonah, Alaska 99829-0360, physically located at 300 Front Street, Hoonah, Alaska until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Clearly mark on the outside of the envelope "Sealed Bid for HMIC Cargo Dock, Opening Date February 17, 2026". Proposals may not be withdrawn for thirty days following date of opening.

The Contract Documents, including one set of reduced scale drawings will be available for download with membership to 'The Plans Room, LLC' at www.theplansroom.com or via email transmission from the City of Hoonah. Request for the bid documents shall be sent to the City Clerk at jbidiman@city ofhoonah.org. Receipt of the bid documents from the City Clerk requires registration with the City Clerk in order to be placed on the Plan Holders List and to ensure receipt of Addenda. Addenda will be forwarded to Plan Holders via email.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the City of Hoonah in the amount of five percent of the total bid price.

Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a Pre-Bid Conference that will be held in Hoonah on February 3, 2026 beginning at 10:00 AM at the City Council Chambers. Prospective bidders may also participate in the Pre-Bid Conference via teleconference by dialing (907) 945-2312. When prompted enter PIN: 56789#. The City of Hoonah reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the City.

The City of Redmond Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at Redmond City Hall Council Chambers, 15670 NE 85th Street, Redmond, Washington on February 25, 2026 at 7 p.m. or as soon thereafter, on:

SUBJECT: The code package has three categories: legislative conformance, business improvement, and fences.
In 2025 the state legislature enacted several new laws affecting local development regulations. This amendment package will result in updates to the Redmond Zoning Code to address new state laws. It will also address several clean-ups related to Redmond 2050. Legislative conformance package updates the following code chapters: RZC 21.04, 21.08, 21.10, 21.12, 21.13, 21.20, 21.40, 21.48.010, 21.55, 21.74, 21.76, 21.78.

Annually, staff prepares a package of code amendments proposed to improve business use of these regulations. These updates include amendments to the following chapters: RZC 21.04, 21.36, and 21.76.

The fence updates are intended to synchronize and add clarity to fence requirements, and to evaluate the purpose and intent of regulating fence and retaining wall location, dimensions, permit requirements, and design. The following code chapters are proposed to be amended: RZC 21.24 and 21.25 (new chapter).

The purchaser at the trustee's sale is entitled to possession of the property on the 20th day following the sale, as against the grantor under the deed of trust (the owner) and anyone having an interest junior to the deed of trust, including occupants who are not tenants. After the 20th day following the sale the purchaser has the right to evict occupants who are not tenants by summary proceedings under Chapter 59.12 RCW.
For tenant-occupied property, the purchaser shall provide a tenant with written notice in accordance with RCW 61.24.060;

NOTICE TO GUARANTORS OF COMMERCIAL LOANS

(a) If you are a guarantor of the obligations secured by the deed of trust on a commercial loan, you may be liable for a deficiency judgment to the extent the sale price obtained at the trustee's sale is less than the debt secured by the deed of trust.

(b) You have the same rights to reinstate the debt, cure the default or repay the debt as is given to the grantor in order to avoid the trustee's sale.

(c) You will have no right to redeem the property after the trustee's sale.

(d) Subject to such longer periods as are provided in the Washington deed of trust act, chapter 61.24 RCW, any action brought to enforce a guaranty must be commenced within one year after the trustee's sale, or the last trustee's sale under any other deed of trust granted to secure the same debt.

If the sale is set aside for any reason, the purchaser at the sale shall be entitled only to a return of the bid amount paid. The purchaser shall have no further recourse against the Trustor, the Trustee, the Beneficiary or the Beneficiary's attorney.

THIS NOTICE IS THE FINAL STEP BEFORE THE FORECLOSURE SALE OF YOUR HOME.

You have only until 90 calendar days BEFORE the date of sale listed in this Notice of Trustee Sale to be referred to mediation, If this is an amended Notice of Trustee Sale providing a 45-day notice of the sale, mediation must be requested no later than 25 calendar days BEFORE the date of sale listed in this amended Notice of Trustee Sale.
