Notice is hereby given that the City of Bothell will receive sealed bids for the following construction project. Bids will be received inside the Public Works Department Meeting Room located at 18415 101st Avenue NE in the City of Bothell, Washington up to the hour of 2:00 pm, as determined by the designated bid clock at said location, on February 26, 2018, after all bids will be publicly opened and read to determine the apparent lowest bidder.
The Westhill Outfall Rehabilitation Project proposes to install 220 LF of 30-inch and 36-inch storm drainage pipe through a segmental slip-lining process, installation of a new 60-inch diameter type-II catch basin and connections to an existing structure. The project also includes clearing and grubbing, pedestrian traffic control, construction surveying, bypass pumping, and project restoration. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $140,000-$170,000. The number of working days for Physical Completion of this project is 30 working days.

It is recommended that Bidders Register in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the Self-Registered Bidders List. Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the online plan room for addenda issued on this project. The City of Bothell in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
Financing of the project has been provided by the City of Bothell. The City of Bothell reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make award of the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order or bid bond payable to the City of Bothell and in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid amount.
