NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Medina Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, Medina City Hall, 501 Evergreen Point Road in Medina. The purpose of this hearing is to consider public testimony for and against the following:

Proposal: Level 2 tailored construction mitigation plan to demolish an existing single-family residence, construct a building addition with a 3,059-square foot pool house and patio, replace an existing residential pier, repair 88 linear feet of an existing concrete bulkhead, and construct other related site improvements. The project involves exporting 5,434 cubic yards of earth, importing 595 cubic yards of fill for upland work and five cubic yards of shoreline gravel for fish habitat. Approximately 30 trees will be removed for this project.

YOU ARE INVITED to attend the hearing and make oral and written comments. The Planning Commission Chair has the discretion to limit testimony to relevant, non-repetitive comments and to set time limits. If you are unable to attend, written comments, photographs, or other exhibits on the application may be submitted to the address below before the hearing date.

STATE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT: A Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) for this project was issued on December 4, 2017. Further environmental review is not required.

APPEAL RIGHTS: A Type 3 decision made by the Medina Planning Commission may be appealed to the Medina Hearing Examiner pursuant to MMC 20.80.220(C)(4). Appeals must be in writing and contain specific factual objections. Appeals may be submitted along with appropriate appeal fee to the address below.
