REVISED NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND OPTIONAL DNS
CIP-CKC HIGHLANDS HEADWALL STREAM STABILIZATION,
CASE NO. SAR17-00485 SEP17-00484


PROPOSAL: Scott Gonsar of The City of Kirkland CIP Department, the applicant, is requesting a Process I Zoning Permit to implement stream channel stabilization measures to address erosion issues adjacent to the CKC; replace a portion of an existing culvert under the CKC and install a new drop culvert to prevent stream erosion; and construct a new headwall structure to support the CKC trail. Project includes temporary stream bypass and closure of a portion of the CKC trail during construction. LOCATION: CKC. REVIEW PROCESS: The decision on this application will be made by Planning Director. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The City expects to issue a determination of non-significance (DNS) for this project and is using the Optional DNS Process. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. COMMENT DEADLINE: Written comments must be received by 5 PM on 10/02/17.
