NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HEARING ON PROPOSED
MODIFICATIONS TO
MID-BIENNIUM BUDGET/CIP


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bellevue City Council will hold a public hearing on the City of Bellevues Proposed Modifications to the 2017-2018 Budget and 2017-2023 Capital Investment Program (CIP) Plan Mid-Biennium Update including all proposed levies, taxes, fees, and rates. The public hearing will be held during the Monday, November 20, 2017 Regular Session in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 450 110th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA 98004. The meeting begins at 8:00 PM and the public hearing is scheduled under Item 9 on that evenings agenda.
The public hearing is an opportunity for residents and other stakeholders to offer comment on any aspect of the existing or proposed biennial budget, including all levies, taxes, fees, and rates or the possibility of additional proposed modifications to the Mid-Biennium Budget, including possible future proposed levies, taxes, fees, and rates following the Public Hearing. Public comment aids the City Council and City Administration in updating the Citys 2017-2018 Budget and 2017-2023 Capital Investment Program (CIP) Plan. Please check our website at https://bellevuewa.gov/calendar for more information on this update. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing and to provide written and/or oral testimony.
Meetings are wheelchair accessible. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available upon request. Please phone 425-452-7810 or 711 (TDD Relay Service) by noon on November 15, 2017 if you require interpretation services. Assisted listening devices are also available upon request at the meeting location.
Comments: Any person may participate in the public hearing by submitting written comments to the City Council in care of Kyle Stannert, City Clerk, P.O. Box 90012, Bellevue, WA 98009-9012, or by submitting written comments or making oral comments to the City Council at the hearing. Written comments or questions will also be accepted by David Baldwin, Budget Division Manager, 425-452-2017, dbaldwin@bellevuewa.gov or mail: City of Bellevue, P.O. Box 90012, Bellevue WA 98009-9012. All written comments received by the City Clerk or staff will be transmitted to the City Council no later than the date of the public hearing. Comments must be received by 5:00 PM on November 20, 2017.
Affidavit of posting has been filed with the City Clerk for the Bellevue City Council.
